What a wonderful present for the citizens of Everett - to finally get justice and be free of him and his influence. I would say, it depends on whether Fast Freddy's lawyers have run out of cards or not. |

Well, then he'll get another delay. At some point, they're going to have to try his sorry ass. Justice delayed is justice denied. |

I have an uncomfortable feeling that nothing will happen to FFF.
You may think that bizarre, but it is a feeling that I have.

I have a hard time believing that the Attorney General who would be Governor would waste political capital by indicting and then doing nothing about this superindent from hell. |

I still go with my feelings on this. I'm not a lawyer so I don't really know how these things work.
I've got a bad feeling about this case.

Nothing will happen to FF trust me say the case is continued till after the first of the year then the motions start all over again it won't go before a jury it will go before a judge I just can't see the court wasting tax payers monies picking a jury it doesn't make sense to me. But, then again time will tell so we will all have to wait and see |

I think a lot depends on Lona DeFeo and whether she decides to "sing." After all . . . she faces the greatest number of charges. Is she going to take it all on her own shoulders or will she implicate Fred?
What's additionally troubling is the possibility that Don Andrew could return to city hall. This guy spent years protecting Freddie's overspending by writing it off against the tax levy. Does Hanlon think he won't do the same thing again? Or does he not care, because Fred was so instrumental in finally getting him to the corner office?

Lisa - whether one receives a jury trial or a trial by judge is up to the defendent. There isn't any money "wasted" on a jury trial, as the jury is made up of volunteer citizens appointed to the jury. Motions "don't begin again" after the start of a new year; motions are made, and the ajudicated independent of the calendar year.
Lizbeth, you raise some very good points about Mr. Andrews. What do you think about Mr. Hanlon bringing back Mr. Andrews? Is this an indicator that he will "look the other way" on school financial issues? |

I haven't heard for sure that Andrew is coming back to city hall, but his status as part of the transition team might be an indicator. I think it's disastrous for him to come back in any capacity -- because the long arm of Fred comes with him. The man simply cannot be trusted, and no one can convince me that Hanlon is oblivious to this. He's been around long enough -- he can't possibly be that naive.
Anyone else have any thoughts on the subject? |

Well, I know its not a lot, by I was compensated a small amount for jury duty a few years back. It is more expensive to go that way, but its true that it isn't much more expensive.
I am an average resident of Everett who would like to see more communication about anything and everything to do with Everett |

Hanlon will be, if not already, manipulated by his handlers. He is merely a puppet on a string for FFF, The Marchese Family, and of course the return of Johnny Mac.
Very sad. I'm dissappointed that John Hanlon is not his own man.
