I heard today the only way its ragucci name on everything because he was the mayor at the time of allowing them to come to everett. Oh well, maybe ragucci isn't dead after all. the way this city is going I wish he was here. |

Well said, Lisa. I had high hopes for this administration....but they are totally letting the people down. |

Court & Lisa -- you're both very kind. I had no hopes for this administration, and so far, I've not been disappointed. |

Strange things are happening at city hall....
dissappointing things...
most of you would be astonished....
I'll be more specific at a later date...

Emile . . . can you not give us a hint?
Although . . . given all that has already gone on . . . are there any "surprises" really left?
Okay . . . spill it . . . when is Johnny Mac coming back?

It won't go well for her at city hall....
she apparently failed to perform a monthly reconciliation of accounts on a regular basis.
She has had similar complaints about her actions at a previous employer as well..

Emile, she was in way over her head, and the woman that they hired from Somerville was supposed to take care of these issues. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. |

I'm with Emile and the Pup on this one. No other industry that I know of feels compelled to hire from the city in which they are located. Why are Everett positions always filled with people from Everett? (Redundant question - I know the answer.) A multi-million dollar business is run like some family restaurant. (Apologies to family restaurant businesses everywhere) |

Court, no offense, but Joanne should have been doing this. The Pup and I are appalled that someone else was hired to help her and they still couldn't get it right.
She was the department head.
Sorry.

Agreed. You're absolutely right, but I did want to at least put the truth of the matter out there. Sheila Tracey worked in the Treasurer's office in Somerville and was hired to help Joanne. And Wicked, you're right on target. We do have a tendency to run this multimillion dollar business like a family restaurant. Except, we don't throw the dishes when people get out of line. |
