Today's Advocate was pure John Cook Dowd, Fred's PR guy. Nearly two weeks after the Alderman's meeting, an article about Steve Smith raising questions about Lona's continuing employment with the school department was printed. Smith is the only guy with the guts up there to ask any questions, and Fred wants that to stop. A little bird told me that the CM was very unhappy with last week's paper, so clearly Mitchell had to make amends this week.

We deserve better than this.

Nah, this was John Cook Dowd, and Fred had it printed. Nasty little sentences, and petty little innuendos. It's John Dowd all right. It's his hallmark. I wonder how he sleeps at night?
