Have any of you faithful bloggers out there visited City Hall recently?
The Pup and I have visited recently and have found the front of City Hall covered with coffee cups, newspapers, litter in among the bushes, and the dead plants left from last fall.
The most disgusting aspect of the whole experience is the accumulated cigaret butts in the planters at the front and rear of City Hall. Hundreds of them!
What a nice way to be greeted as you come and pay your taxes, water bills, etc.
Oh, did I forget to mention when it rains you get a nice nicotine soup with floating cigaret butts?
What the hell is going on at City Hall? No maintenance?
Just good, old "Bob" at 77 years old.
They tell me that it takes him a week to empty all the trash on at city hall. Then he starts all over again the following week....
Hanlon comes and goes through the same doors. Why doesn't he see the same things?
The new Maintenance director also comes and goes through the same doors. Doesn't he see this too? Maybe he should take a broom or rake and clean up the area.
Barry, put the briefcase down and do some work!! or at least have someone else do it.
The Pup can use a broom and is willing to help. Why can't Barry?

| Emile- I have to admit - I hardly every go to city hall. I pay my bills via the mail, so I don't really have to go there. Perhaps Barry will see your post and take care of it. |

Too bad you haven't witnessed the conditions.
The Pup and I may start using the mail from now on.....let them stew in their own nicotine juice.

| I loath the mess of cigarette butts. I'm glad I missed it. It's a filthy rotten habit and people should clean up after themselves. You would think that a guy who would have a problem with "casual Friday" would issue a demand about overall cleanliness and hygiene of city hall. |

The outside of City Hall is a terrible mess.
Too bad none of our local newspapaers have the balls to print a photo of the conditions.

I know...I mourn his passing.
He was a follower of FFF, but remained relatively harmless, as far as I know...
May his soul rest in peace....

I feel so bad for Mr. Malione and his family a wonder guy who I had in high school in the early 70's the best. Not a bad thing to say about him just saw him Friday in Stop and shop and he remember me and I was shocked he has been following my career.
