HONOR CODE:
Who loses honor can lose nothing else.”Publilius Syrus As members of the Everett High School community, we expect the highest standards from ourselves and from each other. Dishonorable behavior diminishes us; and those who ignore such behavior are, in fact, giving approval by their silence. Acting responsibly often requires making difficult choices.
Isn't this just amazing? Evidently, there's an honor code for the kids...but not the superintendent or the school committee? Why does this not apply to our school committee...who stood by while Fred Foresteire was indicted and his maintenance manager was convicted; while hundreds of thousands of dollars in state and federal grant money was mispent; special education funds were placed in a slush fund and spend on advertising and football parades and don't forget the uncertified teachers.
Let the world know that the Everett school system has defined "honor" and the administration and the school committee has failed miserably. Give them all an F!

I was watching a meeting on TV a few weeks ago and noticed that there was a decision that all awnings for businesses be "Crimson Tide Red".
I thought it would be more fitting to have MCI Orange or the classic black and white stripes.
There is no honor in our school system, unless it's among thieves.
Who is paying for all the banner ads, "Everett’s schools are Everett’s pride"?
Who are they trying to convince? Obviously no one with kids in the school system.

It's all part of Superintendent's grand public relations scheme, which brainwashes people into thinking that Everett's schools are among the best in the state, when in fact, they are now ranking lower than many surrounding communities. The focuas for Fred and company has always been public relations....he has plenty of money for those full page ads, but I've heard of special education kids that have gone without the services they need because Fred told their families that the school department "didn't have the money."
The honor code is just another hook to get people thinking that the school department and school committee might actually have honor. Nothing could be further from the truth. |

How's the court case, Court?
Do you think FFF will be found guilty?
I hope he is, because..."judex damnatur ubi nocens absolvitur"

I haven't heard much of late. He's supposed to go to trial this spring.
For the sake of this city - I do hope he is found guilty. It's hard to imagine that Lona's guilty but Fred isn't?
The judge is condemned when the guilty is acquitted - Publilius Syrus. Very true. It will all rise and fall on the strength of Reilly's case and the cunning of Fred's attorney.
John Hanlon should remember this: Maior risus, acrior ensis. I heard that His Honor let go the last of Freddy's foes today. Jack Garron, the stalwart procurement officer who has fought Frederick F. Foresteire valiantly. The last road block to Fred's absolute power in city hall is gone. Freddy has his favorite pet auditor...and now procurement. No one will be minding the store on behalf of Everett's taxpayers. What a sin.

Court,
I did not watch the Council meeting...wasn't Jack Garron's appointment before them?...I thought I saw it on the agenda...Why was he let go?
And more importantly, what old fart or incapable imbecile will replace Mr. Garron?
My God!
I grieve for Everett

Emile . . . Garron's appointment was, indeed, before the Board on Monday evening and, according to the minutes of the meeting, the appointment was confirmed (check You must be logged in to see this link. and click on city council reports. You'll find it listed as #41 on the calendar).
What gives with this Administration???? How could the Mayor submit Mr. Garron's name for reappointment, have that reappointment confirmed, and TWO DAYS LATER give the man the boot????? Someone has some 'splainin' to do.
Think the newspapers will write about this one? Think there'll be any sort of an outcry. The Aldermen should be taking Hanlon to task for this . . . they now look like jackasses for reconfirming a man that the Mayor clearly had to have known he was considering giving the old heave hoe.
This has the fingerprints of FFF and that Lady MacBeth of a city auditor all over it. |

| The last thing I heard was that there was a stalemate going on. Mayor Hanlon is telling people that Jack Garron "resigned," and Jack hasn't - but his computer and network were shutdown. |

| I'd believe Jack Garron before I'd believe anything Hanlon has to say! |
