Bond selected by Fitchburg State University to construct an addition and renovate the Condike Science Center
EVERETT, MA--BOND, a 103 year-old construction firm based in Everett, MA., announced that their Building Division was selected by Fitchburg State University to construct an addition and renovate the Condike Science Center.
Bond was awarded a $42 million contract to construct a new 54,700 square foot addition that will include Biology and Chemistry teaching and research laboratories, classrooms, and support functions. In addition they will renovate the exiting building which provides space for Physics and Geo-physical sciences, classrooms, and faculty offices on the 31-acre campus.
BOND will be working with CBT Architects of Boston on the 98,600 square foot combined addition and renovation which is expected to be completed in January of 2014.
