A 29-year-old man was stabbed to death last night after he and another man came to blows outside of an Everett pizzeria, according... to Middlesex prosecutors.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Jamar Leaston, 20, of Everett in connection with the fatal stabbing of Nicholas Mackay, the office of Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr. said in a statement. Mackay was an Everett resident at the time of his death, prosecutors said.

The two allegedly got into a physical fight outside of Nana’s Pizzeria on Main Street around 10:07 p.m. before Mackay was stabbed, prosecutors said. Mackay was transported to Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett where he was pronounced dead.

Leaston is charged with murder and assault and battery.

I read elsewhere that they have made an arrest in this case.
