Tails, to be perfectly honest, I expected nothing less from Jason. The only thing that surprised me, he didn't jump up as soon as the meeting started....
He should have kept it out of the Council Chamber. |

Imagine that.
I'm not surprised and it just shows the nonchalant lackadaisical attitude the administration has. Something so simple, but yet complicated. |

I guess "hack" holiday = No agenda.
God knows what will happen once they start using the new agenda software that was mentioned at the budget hearings. |

I just heard the councilors are trying to put a piece on to stop the increase in parking/sticker fees. Maybe that’s why there isn’t an agenda or perhaps the communication director was too busy making up Carlo DeMaria 2011 shirts so they could all wear them to the Bruins parade. A little tacky, if you ask me.
I’m against parking/sticker fee increases as I stated under Boston Globe. In a nutshell:
A. The remaining businesses are the ones going to feel the effect because people won’t stop anymore.
B. The ones that do stop are going to park in the residential area around Everett Square, cluttering up parking for residents. There are a lot of renters around there without access to a driveway.
C. No one can afford this anymore. Certainly not the elderly and not the average Joe. People are literally living paycheck to paycheck and just do not have it.
It’s the mindset of this administration that really ticks me off. The mayor’s comment during the budget hearings that 1.2 Million Dollars is insignificant made up my mind that anyone would be better. It’s easy for him to say 1.2 Million Dollars is insignificant, when he owns 4 Honey Dews and not 1 in Everett….and... has an 85K Salary on top of those 4 businesses. He has the credit card mentality and he’s using tax payer dollars with that mentality. It has to stop.
