Everett Special trash collections scheduled By John Laidler Globe Correspondent
June 16, 2013
The city is offering residents and businesses a chance to dispose of trash that is too large to be included in the regular curbside trash pickup and overflow trash that will not fit into city-issued 64-gallon trash containers during two weeks this summer — June 24-29, and Aug. 26-31.
The trash can be deposited in a dumpster that Capitol Waste, Everett’s trash hauler, will place at the City Services facility, 19 Norman St., during those weeks. Officials said no white goods, yard waste, or hazardous materials will be accepted in these collections. White goods can be included in regular curbside collection but require purchase of a sticker. For more information, call the mayor’s office at 617-394-2270.
