I just learned that the city had a meeting on Thursday night about the Swan Street park. Magda Aliberti, a concerned Everett homeowner/taxpayer, has been in communication with me and has been an invaluable source of what's going on. Apparently, the city wants to take the park offline permanently. I know it needs work, but my kids still play there.
Also, on Monday night at 6PM, there will be a meeting at City Hall about what to do with the Devens school. I am going to try and be there. I hope to see plenty of other concerned citizens as well.
