Yes but I haven't tried it yet. People I know that have rave about it. Looking for a good sit down dining experience? Check out the 8/10 on Norwood St. Great bar and a great menu affordibly priced. App, salads, sandwiches, grilled items, Italian specialties, pizza and comfort food to die for. Try the macaroni and cheese or meatloaf both around $9. The owner is there all the time and wears a suit. Sounds like I work there but the truth is I really want to see this palce make it. It's a much needed dining experience and they've been featured on ECTV's "Tatse of the Town".

I have thought about trying 8/10 but thought it was just another Brazilian restaurant on Norwood Street, so was hesitant about going in. Now that some one has recommended it, I will give it a try. Thanks.

I am with you massdee I too saw and thought about going in but assumed it was a Brazilian hang out and figured I would find foods that I never heard of.

I always end up going outside the city for Italian food. I really don't care for any of our local places. I would prefer to go to an Everett business. When Ferry Street Grill was open for dinner, we used to go there. Their Italian food was pretty good. I wish they would stay open later. They have plenty of parking and it's very easy to get to.

Yes I too was afraid 8/10 was going to more of the same that we find and think of on Norwood Street. It's not and that's why I want it to succeed. It's not just Italian food for there is also seafood and daily specials. Last time I went it was Beef Wellington which was sold out. Check it out. Do what I did...sit at the bar order a drink and ask just to take a look at the menu out of curiosity. Then if you like what you see order dinner. I think you'll be happy.

I will check it out for sure. I really like to support our local businesses. I think one of the nicest business people in Everett Square is Anita at Tasty Garden.

Yes the Square Deli is where the old 3D's was. It is now owned by Greg Antonelli and his girlfriend Karen Ciovacco. They have the best salads and sandwiches. I have heard about the 8/10 it is owned by a local family and is NOT a brazillian place.

Is 8/10 where Zach's used to be on Norwood Street?

It's been a while since the Pup and I get out.

The 8/10 is owned by Attorney Joe Sasso's son.

He spent a great deal of money there to upgrade from the barroom it used to be.

Definitely not Brazilian.

Peppino's on Main Street is under new ownership. We have tried it and found the food good. The service is a little slow due to she makes everything to order. Prices are also reasonable.
