But they failed to explain why her boyfriend got a contract after it had been awarded to De Maria's cousin.

She'd better really hope that Mr DiMaria doesn't get into the Big House come next election.

If she has these new hips, why doesn't she have a placard of her own? That way no one can give her any grief over it. It obvious bothers her to have it in the weekly rag.

I think I wrote that wrong... It obviously bothers her because "SHE" must have had it put into the Weekly Newspaper. Lets face it crime in the city doesn't make it to the point her hips have.

Not to belittle Vetrano's condition but, if she can walk around city hall to do her job, I'm sure she can walk from anywhere in the city hall parking lot to the building. It is not a large parking lot. The HP spaces really should be saved for tax payers coming to do business at city hall, not being taken up all day by one car. If she has that much of a problem, then maybe she should have an assigned parking spot close to the door. I don't know, just a thought.

She's not the only employee to utilize a handicap space all day. There's a small green Toyota parked there all the time that belongs to someone on the 3rd floor.

Does it have a handicapped placard?

If Vetrano has a valid handicapped placard -- and I think the paper said the placard is in her name -- then whether we like it or not, she's not doing anything wrong legally by parking there. Same with the green Toyota . . . if there's a valid placard, they have a right to park in that spot. It may be annoying and frustrating to us, and not thoughtful of them to take up the spaces all day, but . . . they're not breaking any laws.

If that's the case, then yes, that's breaking the law. But do we have any way of knowing that for sure?

The placard should be hanging from her rear view mirror....it's fairly easy to check.

They are suppose to be hanging there that is true but, isn't there something blocking the picture? I don't know if the name is visible or not.
