I received a call today to respond to a survey about the city. I asked who sponsored it and, of course, was told they didn't have that information, just a script to read from.
Anyone else get this call? Who do you think is paying for this? Hanlon, McGonigle, or VanCampen?

My guess would be the Hanlon people trying to get a feel for the voters reaction to all the BS. |

I read on the Mirror that the question at the very end of the survey was whether the person or anyone in her household was employed by the city. Justme, did you get that question?
I agree, massdee . . . it sounds like a Hanlon Production |

Yes, I did CK and was very surprised by it. I'm still not sure I should have answered the questions, but I was really curious and couldn't resist!
Actually, I thought it might be a potential candidate trying to get a handle on how people really feel about the city and the current administration. I don't think the questions were designed to show Hanlon in a positive light. |

I say we ALL just answer Yes to that question and leave it at that. Don't offer anymore information. That is what I did! |

I never thought of saying yes when they asked. Did they ask more questions after you answered that way? |

Mine said out of area and there was no number. I almost never answer the phone when I see that but I was in the mood to give someone sh** for bothering me so i picked it up. Then I had to answer because I wanted to know what they were asking, because I'm basically a nosey person! |

I just asked Joe McGonagle if that survey came from his camp. He told me "absolutely not." |

I believe Joe when he says it's not coming from him. I haven't gotten the call yet, but from what I've heard out here -- this is definitely something dreamed up by the Hanlon camp. If I do get the call, I want to ask them what polling company is doing this work. Think I'll get an answer to that question? Not who they're doing it for . . . just the company that was contracted to do it . . . |

I haven't received a call either, but I might not since I was a Hanlon supporter in the previous elections. I can't believe how dumb I was. |

Massdee, I'm sorry that you and so many others were disappointed. Being let down by someone you placed so much faith in is very difficult. |

I really think the mans mental capacity is diminishing.
I was out with a couple of people last night and I had no idea who they had voted for last election. Come to find out all three of us had voted for Hanlon and not one of us will ever do it again. I cannot see him getting re-elected, no matter what is in that audit. |

I agree Massdee, the Audit won't make a difference, Hanlon should throw the towel in now and save himself some humiliation. Everyone I talk to who voted for Hanlon, all say, they will not make that same mistake. |
