Peter Petrantonio was obviously pushed over the edge by the accusations against him.
Peter came to the third floor at Pity Hall with a baseball bat to demand answers from Hanlon and Pedulla. Fortunately for all, common sense intervened prior to the police arriving.
Hmmmm, I wonder if the bat was aluminum or wood?
As I remember actor Clint Eastwood saying as he portrayed a preacher, a man of the cloth, in the movie "Pale Rider"....

If that is what really happened Peter was wrong. But can you see how lies and accusations targeted at you as revenge and probably dreamed up by Vetrano can drive people nuts?? This is what this city has become because we have allowed them to go unchecked for years. The time has come to make everyone of them accountable for everything.

Some people, rather than create something good, lasting and productive, merely create chaos, leaving havoc in their "wake." These are people who should work alone, so they don't infect others. Instead of aspiring to grow into a position they're not qualified for, by taking classes or at the very least, turning on a calculator....they revert back to the tried and true "keep the pot stirred" so people don't know how incompetent they are.
The working environment at city hall is pretty bad right now, and the morale is in the hopper. |
