Poll Question:
If the election were held tomorrow, who would you vote for?
(Also, I put Hanlon on top because he is the incumbent and everyone else is in alphabetical order.)

I'm glad to see that the famed "incumbent advantage" is really helping Hanlon. |

If this small sampling is any indication of the feelings of the broader electorate the mayor most definitely stands a chance of being eliminated in the primary. In the interest of full disclosure I have previously let it be known I was a hard-core Ragucci supporter. Even among like minded voters, who would have thought it could get so bad so fast? Even I'm surprised by the swiftness of the downfall despite my strong feelings at the time that the people of Everett were making a big mistake when they let Dave go. |

Middle-Man 1 I too was a Ragucci supporter, not a hardcore one, but I voted for him in every election. However, as you stated, if this poll is any indication of how the city feels as a whole, then Johnny Boy has big problems a comin'. If he doesn’t make it past the primary City Hall should be interesting for the last few months. I also feel for whoever does become mayor. What a mess they're going to be walking into. I also want to disclose that I am a McGonagle supporter and that I hope he wins. I think he is the best qualified out of the group of people and I hope once elected he can save this city. |

I tried to do some business at City Hall today and it was closed. I was always under the impression that Bunker Hill Day was a Suffolk County holiday, schools were in session the School Committe had their meeting. What is up with this holiday?

It is supposed to be a Suffolk County holiday, but Everett has embraced it with relish. Yet another paid holiday. |

I see that they are at work in Pity Hall today. Did anyone else notice that although this post has been up since the 16th (a day in which Pity Hall is closed) Hanlon only had 4% of the votes until today the day in which Pity Hall re-opened. It jumped all the way to 33% of the vote in one short hour. Things that make you go hummmmmmmmmmmmmm........ |

I'm sure Johnny Boy sent a memo around telling his minions to get on the site and vote en mass. You people would be surprised how many people come on this site to get their political news, so I'm sure Hanlon is concerned and is taking this site, the people, and our comments on it seriously.
How the hell do you go from 4% to 33%? I'm not a big fan of DeMaria, but at least he went up bit by bit, not 4% to 33%.
Yup!!! Best Mayor we ever had!!! |

Did the mayor give his minions their geritol before they logged on to vote? Or it could be just one person voting multiple times. |

I don't think you can vote multiple times from the same computer. Maybe the computers that were "confiscated" for the investigation are serving a purpose for them. |
