Go outside tonight and take a look at the moon. The shiney object at southeast position is Venus.

Funny, I was looking at that earlier and said to a few of the neighbors, is that the north star?

The faint "star" northwest in the 11 o'clock position is Saturn.

I was sitting out with my 4 year old grandson and pointed it out to him. I also thought it was a star. I started teaching him "Star light, Star bright," Thanks for the info. I will tell him about it tomorrow.
