I heard today that at the meeting that the mayor was at Foxwoods...hmm how come none of us were invited I wonder???

Hope he had luck there while the rest of the city government was hunting for the truth about the audit...hmm funny how he is the one who was crying for it and is not here to discuss it fully

Can anyone confirm that Walking Eagle is in fact, at Foxwoods? I just find it remarkable that anyone, much less the mayor of this beleaguered city, would head to Foxwoods at a time like this. To shock a cynic like me takes doing, and if this guy has gone to Foxwoods at a time like this - then consider me shocked and awed by the audacity of it all.

Hanlon did not even extend the courtesy of notifying the BOA that he was going to be away. They received no communication from him at all.

They had a letter read that was sent to them from JV stating that he could not talk about the Audit AGAIN. Didn't we already do this song and dance with him?

Like I said in my other posts about the FBI...they don't care so why should anyone concerning this audit??
Janis Vetrano and all the others surrounding this audit will not tell the CC or BOA what they want to know...maybe if the FBI were the ones confronting them maybe it would be different...but we know there is no chance of that happening.

After all...why would anyone want to tell the truth about the fiscal problems our city is facing...

Seems like people high tail it outta dodge before all hell breaks loose...

I just want to thank all the taxpayers out there who pay my salary so i caN HELP hANLON WITH HIS PHOTO SHOOTS. I'll be in Florida for couple weeks collecting my check, so i just want to thank the taxpayers.

I don’t know why all you people are mad at Johnny Boy for going to Foxwoods. Can’t you all see that by going there he’s doing his job and is trying to smooth out the budget? After all he’s trying to get about another 3,000,000. Here are his rough fiscal incomes for this FY:

23% on Roulette
16% on Craps
21% on Black Jack
35% on Slots
5% on Texas Hold em’

Hell, I think this plan for his budget is better than what he submitted originally. Yup!!! Best Mayor we ever had!!!
