why have other cities been able to redo their playing fields with Urban Grant money and other help and yet Everett Stadium is in the worst codition I can ever remember it being in and Everett gets nothing ?
Malden is putting in their 4th (fourth)turf field,Cambridge has a new field,Somerville has a new field,Chelsea,Lowell,Lawrence,Lynn and the list goes on.
A new turf field and track could be used by sports teams other than football and seniors and others for walking instead of risking their life getting hit by skate boarders,bicycles etc. trying to walk down Glendale Park.
We used to have the best Stadium in the state --now we have the worst one--take a walk on the field down Everett Stadium--it is in deplorable condition !
