My sources have indicated that Carlo has been instructed by present Speaker of the House DiMasi to "do the right thing" regarding Keverian or Everett will suffer the consequences, so to speak.
So.....I would think that, health permitting, George Keverian will be back in some capacity with the DeMaria Administration. Gotta keep Beacon Hill happy, right?
Do the right thing, Carlo.........
Thank you former Mayor Hanlon for the trouble you have caused to all of us. We definitely DO NOT want to see you around Pity Hall after the New Year and certaintly not with the new administration.
Goodbye John and take a few of your phoney baloney political hacks with you, just for good measure.

Emile,
Happy New Year to you and the pup, and best wishes for a healthy and properous New Year.
I hope your sources are right. I hope to raise the glass tonight and toast to Mr. Speakah's long and productive career. He is Mr. Everett, after all.

That just points out how politics as usual is at work. The speaker is threatening Carlo for something John Hanlon did, real nice guy.

I think I recall that Carlo told the newspaper that he supported Mayor Hanlon's dismissal of the Mr. Keverian. I've got that paper around here somewhere. I'm sure that wasn't lost on the Speaker. |

I believe you're right Court. Wasn't that when he said IF he found the position was necessary he would post the position? |

I found the paper - it was the Boston Globe! This means there's NO WAY the speaker of the house missed Carlo's support for John's actions.
