| Doyle is still there as of last Friday and also I saw Dragone there too, so I wonder if he was let go or just a rumor, today there was a meeting at 830 for all to present their resume's. |

| Everything is so quite in the city all I heard today was that more pink slips are going out in the next two weeks.. I don't know who is staying or going but, Dragone is still there well should I say his car is there, b. doyle saw this morning riding around in the city, j.doyle still there, and to let the board know George Keverian is at a re-hab in cambridge if anyone wants to send him a card it's the Youthville on Cambridge St (spelling could be wrong) |

This is the quietest this city has been in quite some time. Not that that's a bad thing. It's just that some of us are interested and want to know what's going on. I am a little disappointed if Dragone is still there.
The spelling of the hospital is Youville Hospital, 1575 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA 02138, for those that are interested. |

The article below was on boston.com. I thought it was for all fire victims including future victims of fire. That’s what I understood from Mayor DeMaria when he was explaining it.

FIRE VICTIMS BENEFIT - Mayor Carlo DeMaria will host a Fire Victims Benefit on Saturday to help the families who were displaced in the Dec. 5 fire caused by a speeding tanker that overturned in Sweetser Circle. The event is to start at 7 p.m. at Anthony's of Malden at 105 Canal St. Admission is $15. Tickets may be purchased in Room 31 at City Hall. Financial donations also may be sent to City of Everett Fire Victims Account, Everett City Hall, Room 31, Everett 02149. - Kay Lazar |

| Now People tell me... Isn't he doing a great job as our Mayor I know it is early but I can't remember a Mayor doing more so quickly and efficiently. |

I am very happy at what I have seen so far coming from the new mayor. There are more layoff’s coming because everybody had to re-apply for their positions. Also, it’s nice to have the cooperation of the mayor on all issues and not just be told NO. I am however going to reserve a little judgment for budget time. It’s going to be very interesting how the next budget will be handled and the amount of the budget for FY/09.

| just found out this morning that councilor cardillo from ward one her son was hired to be a meter person during the day, I also watch the chamber meeting last nite and sachetta really made a remark that was un-called for when introducing the mayor, whether in fun or not there was no need |

| Do you know what the remark was from Mr. Sachetta? I know he did not support Carlo but what's done is done. Also, who hired Millie Cardelo's son? Do you think favoritism or a political favor was played? I would like to know who else applied for the position, etc… |

| Tails the remark if I remember correctly cause it came on late on 16 was something to do with his plan for the city of everett, he (S) wanted to know his plan for the future and made a statement that you can present it here at this forum Carlo reply to (S) why don't you join me as your Mayor and work with my administration but Carlo did well in the come back to him I give him a 10 you have to watch it. I think Paul Kelly does the hiring of that job but not sure. Like I stated in the priors postings it's hard to get things out of city hall. It's liking working for the FBI LOL |

| Things at city hall have been very quiet since the first week or so of Carlo's administration. Has anyone heard any updates at all? Wasn't yesterday the deadline Carlo set for who is staying and who is going? There are still many there that I personally would like to see removed. |

| nothing I said earllier it's liking working for the FBI there are no leaks in the city. I know Dragone is still there, Pedulla is still there, Hart is still there and I guess he is staying, Ranieri is still at the city yards why I don't know his car is everywhere around the city on city time. I guess we will all have to wait and see, I don't even know if the new commissions were put together as of yet. |
