Did you hear MM already quit his prestigious, newly created position in the Hanlon Administration. Seems when MM doesn't get his way, he's take his ball and runs home.

ANYONE KNOW WHY? Does it have to do with Mazzie getting the new contract? |

That would be my guess. I had heard that he walked off the job but he came back; he allegedly also told Hanlon to go to hell.
Yes, Mikey's acting like a real big boy. |

Rav is back and strutting his stuff at City Hall.
Not sure what his goal is with this administration......Hmmmmmm?
Any ideas, people?

Rav is doing what's he always does - shake people down - word is he went around City Hall asking folks "do you like your job?" - then asked for several hundred $ in cash - nice guy, hah? |

Hot off the press: In a heated fight Marchese tells Hanlon he's the most stupid guy he ever met and quit his job - as they say, desperate people do desperate things - so Hanlon offers Marchese the opportunity to work from home - seems like Hanlon's afraid if Marchese pulls his people, his days will be numbered - if you ask me, his days are numbered anyways |

As the Pup and I have said before......
We strongly feel that Hanlon will not finish his term....

Question: if Mikes job is quality assurance - how do you do that from "HOME"? |

Well, he can certainly observe the quality of the envelope that brings his paycheck, and report back to the mayor. He can detail any papercuts, and snags during the opening process, and the overall uniformity of the postmark. Perhaps he can become ISO certified on this? |

what about Rav finally getting his wish to work in the Mayor's Office then having his desk located in the budget office (where the former secretary sat) - won't be long before he's jumping ship too |

One long time observer told me that with so many egos wanting to be in charge, Fred, Mike, David etc, it would only be a matter of time before all hell broke loose. |

I saw Mike yesterday and was talking to him I told him I felt really bad for him BUT the mayor picked the best man for the job I told him not to take it personally and he should re-think the whole outcome. Now lets see if the tickets get resolved at nite I personally think we should have an all day sticker program we can now email Sgt. Strong I already did and told him how I felt on the situation. The city is out of control there are to many cooks in the kitchen and we as citizens need to express our opinions.. The new website for Sgt. Strong is EPDTRAFFIC1@YAHOO.COM. Also what's up with these new lights the stay green for 3 seconds and I am not kidding only three cars at a time can go..We need to fix this before someone gets kills. |

I don't feel bad for Mike at all. His childish immaturity regarding the Chief's reappointment was unbecoming a community leader. If you own a bar, and there's a drug problem - there should be a bust, if the police are doing their job. There cannot be a set of rules for aldermen and another for everyone else.
Thanks for the information, Jane, about Sgt. Strong. I hope we can get our traffic problem under control. |

Is Iraq better off with U.S. intervention??? NOT!!! Total chaos after almost 4 yrs...Are we better off with the new administration in Everett??? NOT!!! Mayor Ragucci was not perfect by any stretch but I will say this...He was organized, knew his city and the people of the city better than most and addressed their needs in many ways. He knew what he was talking about when hammered by the thugs called aldermen in the Monday night bashings, some whom have some real baggage and they know who they are because we do...I'm tired of the new mayor and savior of our city getting up in meetings and more or less saying, "It's not my fault...it's the fault of the former administration"...unquote...You have M.M. quitting because a great cop and excellent police chief was approved to stay in his position after all the public humiliation he took...and we know why M.M. was so pissed...for the same reason he worked so hard to railroad the former mayor out of town...but he is part of the new team along with the Teflon Don who's now parading around city hall again trying to flash & run the show...and we know why he's there also and why he fought so hard to run the former mayor out of town...you also have the Super & his sidekick L.D. still running the Tamani Hall of Vine st which in itself is a disgrace...and when Stat Smith tries to ask about this touchy subject the bouncer at the head of the class shuts him down...we should have all got up from our easy chairs that night and marched down to city hall and asked this bunch of morons why these folks are still in these positions ourselves...So I ask the question one more time...Are we really better off??? When D.R. gets the city manager's job in Winthrop he probably won't be a free agent and you'll get to pick from the crop of clowns that think that they can also do a better job...Good luck and may God help us... |
