Okay Deb... Do you really think that the majority of Everett residents are gonna fill these out????? I don't! We are in such need of revenue for our school and streets but, why should the state give it to us, little old Everett, when we ONLY have about 100 people living in it (and oh yeah we are all legal and Caucasian) so why would we get any help! Our poor innocent kids who are doing everything right will loss out for being good citizens! US parents are so proud. |

I agree we have so many people living in illegal houses that in today's world noone is going to open their doors at all to let strangers in. Look what happen to the dog catchers Mom she was attack by a man claiming to be from city hall, inside job if you ask me, maybe a person who was let go several years back and still has his information and badges. Scarey if you ask me |

They don't even go door to door anymore, budget cuts. The census comes in the mail and you are expected to mail it in. Most can't even read english nor will they look for assistance from others, they will just throw it away and in return it looks as though we are NOT in need for any assistance from the goverment. |

Its extremely unfortunate that this happens since federal assistance and monies are based on these numbers.

That's it, you get a census in the mail?
That wont work and will not be accurate. All the illegals wont mail them in and now it's easier for them, once again. |

In the past, they would go around door to door for the federal census. I don't know how they handle it now.
I know the city census is done by mail.

They did door to door in the past but it sounds like they don't anymore. |

You must be logged in to see this link.
The Census Bureau will mail or deliver questionnaires to your house in March 2010. We will mail a second form to households that do not respond to the initial questionnaire.
Households that still do not respond will be called or visited by a Census worker. (Census workers can be identified by a census badge and bag.)
