Seems like the Mayor's attempt to sneak this in without many people noticing didn't work out too well. I wonder what kind of fairy tales will be in the papers this week to attempt to put a positive spin on it? Maybe the best that they'll be able to do is to point some fingers.

Well, they cant point fingers about not having a quorum. If that's the case then don't take the summers off. This was a last minute, hush hush meeting to bond 14 million dollars knowing perfectly well who's on vacation and who's not. When you make solicited phone calls, the word gets out.

There's no rhyme or reason to vote on all those items in one night. And, if the Parlin School is in such disarray...where have they been since June?? If it was so "important" that it was made out to be, this should have been taken care of at one of the regular CC & BOA meetings much earlier. It was all a spin. Just like city government knows perfectly well when construction season is.

Lastly...watching Rosa DiFlorio get reamed by the mayor was too much. Watching her sit back and take it was over the top.
