I understand that the meters go into effect today the new hours are 8am-6pm Mon-Sat. Just wanted everyone to know who thinks they start at 9am now. |

Six o'clock?
How does parking enforcement deal with the extra hours?

the city realized they were losing money on saturdays so the meter maids will now be working a split shift on saturdays. |

Did anyone see the Aldermen's agenda the other night? There was a request for approximately $11K to be transferred to the City Clerk's Office to RESTORE THE ARCHIVIST POSITION TO THE CITY CLERK'S OFFICE!
They are not making new positions, just restoring old ones.
There's that word OLD again....hmmmm
Looks like John Hanlon's closest bud, Jack Doyle, the former archivist, may be back on the job that the previous administration eliminated.
Oh bye the way, Jack Doyle's daughter is now the new non-union clerk in the Law Department.
What a strange coincidence!

Well, my understanding is that many of the aged appointments have to be part time, so as to not interfere with their pensions. Additionally, I did hear that the new old auditor had a very unprofessional meltdown in the office and people are talking. It was a very angry, hissy fit that he took with the staff. (Yeah, Donald - those walls are thin!) I hope Jim Henderson stays on top of that. The guy used to be able to exercise control, but now that he's been Freddyized, having worked over on Vine Street.... |

The story about the auditor's meltdown is true.....
Be careful...
Mr. Henderson's allegiance is unclear at this time.

Mr. Hanlon is doing everything he siad he wouldn't
Jack Doyle's position of archivist was ELIMINATED 8 years ago. now he's back. That counts as a new position.
They don't seem to know what to do with Marchese....There will be a new position created for him.
Ron D'Onfrio is coming back....another new position, I'll wager..
Thanks for Nothing, Mayor Liar

All contracts are supposed to flow through the law department...
are they suggesting the Law Department was at fault?
be careful about using the word "illegal"
