Item 25 - Melissa Murphy says she makes it very clear that the mayors office has been in touch with the department of justice and if they feel there is a reason to be concerned they would contact them. What a line of crap. Why is the administration not demanding, or going higher up to get those names of the frauds and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law PRIOR to the special election as promised.
I'd like to know WHO Melissa spoke with ( and what time) because I got through to Eugenia Carris all on my own and she tells me that the City of Everett has been NON COOPERATIVE with her investigation.
The mayor has pull as mayor of this city to get this information. He should have been there last night and addressed people about it. He's either hiding something (or hiding from something) or he's got his head so far up Wynn's ass that he cant be bothered.

I think what's more disturbing is no one else spoke on the misuse of absentee ballot's last night, or even just spoke up in support of the piece. Sure, Mike Mangan goes and calls up Melissa......as she stands right behind him so ancy to jump the podium, and she gave no other information that we did not know already. What was the point...so she can get her 5 seconds of fame and make sure she tells people that "she's" been calling, etc. She's made no progress, so job not so well done Ms. Murphy.
Mike Mangan can agree with Alderman Van Campen all he wants, but I would have liked to see his name, or any other Alderman.... attached to the resoulution. I thought they would have put them all on the resolution as a whole. That tells me that no one else cared about the issue.
That's upsetting to me because all the city council knows a staggering number of Everett residents were hauled before a grand jury prior to charges being brought up against Stat Smith. As Alderman, at least stand up and support these people that came forth and let them know their efforts were not in vein!
Then, the Feds Press Release says - The plea agreement, meanwhile, states that Stat “was an organizer or leader of a criminal activity that involved five or more participants.” Stat not only arranged for his whole family to vote by absentee ballot, he made sure ballots got mailed to the various buildings he owns. By some counts, there were upward of 60 ballots delivered to each of his properties.
How can this go ignored, and it would have been nice if Robert Van Campen was shown a little more support from his colleagues.....but it's just like he said in the beginning of the resolution..... "No one wants to have this discussion" well, that's too damn bad...... our rights have been violated....the cheaters are still out there..... and THEY have disgraced those men and women that fought for our freedom.
Where was our mayor to let us know how disturbed he is about our civil rights being violated. |

there were upward of 60 ballots delivered to each of his properties. How does 60 ballots get delivered to one property? Who mails out absentees and that high of a number to 1 address. There's more than meets the eye here. Dont give up on the issue after sentencing. The inquires dont end there. |

Went into executive session and hear it may be more than one person. Isn't it lovely when our money gets stolen for personal purposes Massdee? There is a cash drawer there and sounds like lack of supervision to me. These money departments need to balance on a DAILY basis, and that obviously was not being done. |

Is This guy for real!?
They (DOT) was JUST here last fall!................ NO relief until LATE AUGUST 2013! Deal with it!
Enough wasting yet more time in meetings!
By the way, does he live on Elise Street or where he had to report his LEGAL residence for campaign contributions under penalty of perjury Indian Rock Road in SAUGUS.
Maybe that's why he's always spouting off about Route 1 business' spends all his free time in his hometown of Saugus!
Makes you wanna throw up. |

ok didn't marchese put this on a couple of years ago, and mejia said they are grandfather in and can't be touched?? so now it's personal since the mayor's mother was either attacked or harrased down at walgreens and order the police to make their presence known, personal attack on a store that is grandfather in, go figure. |
