looks like a lot of North Everett people were really mad about person tearing down a single family house on Estes St. and trying to build TWO 2 family houses in its place.
John DiBiaso spoke for the residents in the area who showed up ,about 100 of them, and did a fine job.
Smith will lose a lot of votes over this once the whole story gets out.

The whole story, Paul, is that a local resident asked Steven Smith to go to the building department to find out what was going on. He did; Mr.Desmond of the building department told Smith that everything was in compliance and that there was nothing that could be done to stop the building of two two family houses on a double lot. That's right - a double lot. Steven Smith tells the resident and anyone else who was interested what Desmond said.
Now, let's be honest. This project is in Fred's and John Dib's neighborhood, and they want to make political hay when there isn't any, because their boy, Frankie is running for the state rep seat and they know that he won't campaign the way Smith campaigns. So they call their good buddy, Josh , up at the Independent and feed him this story. Like the true paycheck patriot that he is...he prints the story. Don't forget all the ad revenue that Freddy gives the "Independent." I hope he chokes on it when Freddy goes to jail.
There was a move to pass a moratorium against building in Everett. Wait until the courts get a load of that.

apparently you don't have the WHOLE story !!!!
When Smith was going around the neighborhood HE was telling people NOT to show up at City Hall because it was a waste of time and it was a DONE DEAL !!
Thank God the residents didn't listen to him---As it turns out the people that want to build 2 Two family homes where only a single 1 family home stood before ARE BIG CONTRIBUTORS TO SMITH'S CAMPAIGN !!!!! I wonder why !!!!!
Check it out-----THEN you will have the WHOLE STORY !!!!
BTW----How many 2 family homes are there in that area ???
THIS whole plan to start the demise of the neighborhood is sick and if YOU want to defend it fine---But I notice the equipment down in that lot has been idle lately so someone put a stop to it !

Oh, Paul...I do have the whole story. Stephen Smith never told anyone not to show up at the meeting. That's a Foresteire LIE, so that tells me all I need to know about you. Name one person that Smith told not to go to the meeting. Go ahead, cause that's crap. Smith helped cosponsor the resolution to bring this up before the public, Paul. The lot is a double lot, and it was DESMOND, from the building dept. who made the decision. No one is condoning anything and you can be sure that this whole thing is going to a courtroom.
So name the people that Smith told not to go to the meeting. |

You sound like the guy who is trying to build the 2 family houses on Estes ST.---TELL US HOW MUCH YOU CONTRIBUTED.
I hope it costs you plenty in court and you lose !!!!
You are trying to make the neighborhood absentee landlordville like other parts of Everett----go back and build them in the city you live in NOT HERE !!!! |

Yeah, good one, Paul, er... Fred. Name all the people you claim that Steve Smith told not to go to the meeting. Name them if you can.
Try reading the Advocate for the story instead of the Freddy version.

Hello Mr. Paul....You need to calm down a little. Who did Alderman Smith advise not to come to the meeting. You seem to know all the details...How about a name?
Well My Friends, you just can't keep things under control while the Pup and I are away.
