HEY I HEARD THIS MORNING AT A LOCAL COFFEE SHOP THAT THE NEW YELLOW STICKERS ARE BEING PASSED OUT
HERE IS THE DEAL YOU GO TO CITY HALL WITH YOUR REGISTRATION AND YOU GET THE NEW STICKER THAT GOES ON THE FRONT OF YOUR WINDOW UNDER YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR INSTEAD OF RED THEY ARE YELLOW BUT YOU CAN STILL WIPE THE PLATE NUMBER OFF STILL THAT MAGIC MARKER SO NOW WE WILL SEE HOW MANY ILLEGAL CARS WILL HAVE THEM. THEY NEED A BETTER SYSTEM
CAN'T WAIT TO GET MINE ON TUESDAY BY THE WAY WHERE WAS THE ARTICLE IN THE THREE LOCAL PAPERS, OH LET ME GUESS .......
The coffee shop is not the best place to get your information. If you watched the meetings, you'd know the idiots on the council & board are holding up the new ordinance for resident parking so there's no need to put a notice in the paper.
The yellow stickers are not replacing the red ones, they're instead of the red ones. Also, the yellow ones aren't static like the red ones so you probably won't be able to wipe the marker off.
for you infomation justme i did it on my friends who got his yesterday and you can wipe it off. I know the yellow ones are replacing the old red ones but they are static cling just like the red ones so don't open mouth until you see for yourself like I did. Lets face it by the time they get this rolling it will be next year
What's the point of wiping the plate number off? You can't get another sticker for the same plate unless you bring the old one back. They also record the plate and sticker number so if you change plates and get caught you'll pay a pretty big fine.
I got mine Friday morning. I just took it off and tried to get the plate number off. I messed it up a little but didn't come close to getting it off! While I was playing that little game, it was very obvious that they've got some kind of glue on them. The static type don't stick to you & this one certainly does!
As you said richie.........
