Any betting men or women out there? I am betting that Josh Resnek, though the Independent, will do his best to "save" Fred once again, by calling into question the Herald story that was printed yesterday. This guy has a long, long history of supporting our indicted superintendent. His editorials which soften the damage go back to the indictments...and we all know why. All three newspapers were paid out of the slush fund. I predict that this week, Josh will jump on his white horse, and write a nice editorial praising John, praising Fred, calling into doubt anything about John Dowd.
If anything - the guy is predictable.

Recommended code change for city of Everett:
All newspapers must have at least one employee with all 3 of the following. Spine, Sack and Brain. Sack can be figurative if employee is female.

I'm not sure what's up with the Advocate right now, lisa.
I think there will be so much crap happening in January with Hanlon's takeover, that the Advocate will be going strong again.

| I haven't seen the Advocate yet. Saw the website, Emile. You are a wild man, aren't ya? As for crap happening....it won't be John, it will be the people that he's surrounded himself with. John will get the potholes filled and the trash picked up...and the next two years will be spent blaming Ragucci for everything that goes wrong. |

Oh yes, the blame game will be in full force come January 3.
I'm not so sure that John Hanlon has been candid with the voters.

Oh, he's been candid all right. More like candid camera. Bet that he will say that he is going to step in and handle the situation by somehow convincing the aldermen to let the money flow.
What a crock..This is what we have to look forward to? So far, I am not impressed.. |
