I just noticed there are 9 people in here right now and only 2 are members. We need the guest to register and participate. It's great fun.

I think a guest who does not participate would be referred to as a "lurker."

| I hope they also lurk in city hall and they know how to read. You get a good feel for how the city thinks on this site. They might learn something. |

| Not entirely, Emile. I think most of them are afraid to log on and leave a comment here because they're concerned that it may somehow be traced back to city hall, even though we know that registering on this site does not require you to give up your anonymity. I will say, though, that the defense of Hanlon that would appear here over the past year has dwindled substantially. Would you agree? |

Absolutely, Citizen. Hanlon's minions have diminished greatly.
Perhaps they have nothing further to say.
They cannot dispute the facts.
The Pup and I are always ready to do battle, intellectually, for me, that is.
The Pup, however, always has his boxing gloves at hand. His left cross is definitely worse that his bark. He feels the biting is very bourgeois.

Maybe they are afraid to register and join because of SOME of the people on here give NEW people a Very Hard Time, Questioning their reasons for joining in. Even though they are FROM this city and want to state their opinions on some of the City Matters at hand.
Just a thought, from someone who has been hassled for joining in. |

Yes, I was guilty of questioning you Lynda because of the way you defended Bill Bowdridge. I am happy to see anyone new join in here, you included. The more people who know what goes on in this city the better. I know that there are lots of police, city councillors, aldermen, employees of city hall and the school department reading here and that is a good thing. At least they can see how residents are feeling about different issues. I am sure we make an impact here in some small way.
