Well, with the help of a member on this board, (he can declare himself if he would like as he did point me int he right direction) I have reached someone at the Rec Center who, whil he still said it would be better to have a team, gave me a specific time to come down and "try out" Hopefully, I will get picked up. I will therefore be at the Rec Center to shoot hoops at 6:30PM on December 1st. I have two weeks to get into tryout shape. If anyone else is looking to get on a men's team, come by. Maybe we would have enough for a whole team....

| Im glad it worked out Michael and im glad i could help i have been dealing with Bob for the past few years and he has had to deal with a lot of garbage down at that rec-center especially since Eisan started breathing down his neck about three years ago. But he keeps that place running, and is a consummate professional in his dealings with the kids and the parents and everyone else who frequents the place. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!! |

Its a long story, but it was suggested to me the day before I was to try out by a knowledgeable party to wait until after the inauguration (Jan 3) to join up.

I'm not going to bother this time around. I need to go with a whole team to have any chance. 6'3" 195 just isn't enough without the high school ties, I guess
