It seems like city hall is collapsing under its own weight. Women and children in the lifeboats first!
It's very hard to reconcile what was advertised with what we received. There are many schemes afoot. No Lenten sacrifice to be seen there!

***sigh*** . . . Scoop . . . I'm not sure at whom this rant is aimed, but since I'm the one who "attacked", as you put it, in this particular post, I'll respond.
First of all . . . I'm simply stating that we had all agreed to let this subject go until something "official" had been reported. With all due respect to you and your "sources", when you say "word is" -- that can hardly be considered official. This is clearly a particularly emotional subject for people out here, and out of respect for that, many of us had agreed to back of until something concrete had been reported.
Second -- disagreeing or questioning is not attacking. With all due respect, Scoop, when you come out here talking in riddles, it's difficult sometimes to take you seriously. You seem to like to play a game of "I know something you don't know", and speaking only for myself, it gets tiresome at times. Your posts are entertaining, certainly, but there are times I find myself saying "just spit it out already."
Everyone on this board has strong opinions from time to time; we hear things going on in the city that upset us, and we come out here to talk about them. I think we all do a very good job of trying to maintain a balance, but as many of us have said in the past, sometimes we just have to agree to disagree without making or taking things so personally.
Now . . . I'm sorry if I've offended you with this, because clearly you're upset over what you perceive as an attack; it wasn't my intention to attack . . . I was simply restating what I thought we had all agreed to previously. |

| agreeing to disagree is fine but after reading through alot of these entries it appears that the most of the people disagreeing are not giving any evidence as to why what they are saying may be correct and what others are saying isn't right. |

So easy for Poop to throw things out for there to get people worked up, but when it comes to questioning Poop, you better be ready for Poop to rip you a new one!.....(pun intended)
It seems that more than one of you have your own sources on the subject, I'm sure each of you have pieces of some truth, but until the authorities/papers print any updates, I think a lot of us agreed that it should put to rest for a while.

| I just think everyone should get off of everyones case. Take the posts for what they are, entertaining and sometimes informational. Like CK said, it's a place to come and discuss things that you hear around the city. It's all in good fun. |
