My guess is that there are too many embarrassments for the current administration and the damage control and spin was applied.
More well spent tax dollars with nothing in return.

I just watched the council meeting today and LOVED the part when Eagle with walker chewed out Rosa..I thought he was going to have a breakdown..Getting all pissed about the audit, and having to explain( actually not) why he was told 2 or 3 weeks and it's been a month..LOL |

Masterful1, how did you like Henderson not answering where the money is coming from to pay the residential parking enforcement salaries? They all come across as a bunch of arrogant SOB's. |

Never mind just that unanswered question but the way he looked at everyone who asked him a question like "how dare you question me?" Arrogant? I have some other choice words from him! |

I can't wait to see this report. I am entitled just like everyone else who paid for this. Keep hounding your alderman and council to see if the mayor has re'd it as of yet. I want to know. |

Does anyone have the agenda for Monday nights Alderman's meeting? Is the audit on it? Anything else of importance? |

Nothing about the audit on the calendar, but they have requested again that Jerry Sheehan appear again regarding the snow removal procedures -- if you remember, he failed to appear at the last meeting. Evidently, members of the Board aren't going to let it go.

Massdee, I think Henderson is a pompous arrogant Schmuck that thinks he doesn't have to answer to anyone. Everyone seems to be beneath him..It's ok though because come election time, he be singing a different tune. (the unemployment blues)...LOL |

Masterful1, I agree and I hope you are correct about the election. We certainly cannot take two more years of this crap. |

Is it too late for the Aldermen to add the audit on to their agenda? |

No . . . someone could put it on "under suspension" -- and then they would have to move to clear the clerk's desk in order for the item to be taken out of order. Otherwise, it would wait until the end of the meeting. This is done often when things come up after the calendar has already been issued.
Let's see if anyone does it, or if they leave it to the Council . . . Hanlon's response this week would probably only be "I haven't had a chance to review it yet." Not sure how much more reviewing needs to be done . . . after all, the draft was allegedly "untouched." |

Where is he going now?
Does the Mayor think that, by virtue of his office, he has unlimited vacation time? |
