The parking ban is on and there are cars parked on the wrong side of my street. That happens every storm, what I want to know is, why do they have the plow blade slanted towards the cars that are parked legally? We are getting plowed in and the people across the street are not. |

I must say that the plow has made its way down my street many times this evening. No complaint there. But, I do have to agree with you massdee on the plowing into parked cars. My street is one side only parking, my side, so when they plow those people in they are also plowing my driveway in, I just hate it. We are out there shoveling and it is like spitting in the wind. |

hey if there is a snow emergency till 4pm today
why the hell are they allowed to park? so I called the police station talk to a officer in charge and they stated cause it's sat and people have to work or do business. unacceptable to me if the cities and towns call snow emergencys then its for a good reason. |

I agree, Arthur, unless they've lifted the snow emergency. But it's still posted on ECTV. And even last night, there were cars parked on Broadway and on Ferry Street. What was the reasoning then?

Oh . . . but having said that, aside from the lack of enforcement of the parking ban . . . I have to say that the plowing was far better this time around. In my neighborhood, the plows made several passes last night, and they've also be around this morning. |

I think they did a pretty decent job this time around. My only complaint is that plow blades were angled towards the cars that were parked legally and really buried us and it has already started to freeze. Meanwhile the cars parked on the wrong side were able to pull out of their spaces. I've been digging one of my cars out for two hours now, still have one more to go. Then I will start on the one in my driveway. |

Amazingly poor job on Victoria, Wolcott, & that area (I thought I was going to wreck the underside of the car), but the rest of the city looks pretty good. |

It isn't always easy to get a plow down some of the side streets; also, people have a tendency to throw the snow back out into the street when they shovel. I see this in my neighborhood all the time, especially with people using snow blowers. |
