I have recently become aware of an inappropriate comment made in a posting. I would like to remind everyone that this blog is inteded to be a public forum in which anonymity is to be preserved but that the bar should be kept high. Banning people is rather ineffective in an anonymous format, and for the most part I feel we have a good core group of members who keep topics on point and current. I really enjoy what we have going here and plan to keep this going indefinitely.
That being said, if you find a comment or posting that seems inappropriate to you, please do two things:
1.) email me at mikebilica@gmail.com
2.) Private message me on this board.
As a new teacher, I sometimes get bogged with official messages at another official email address that I must use as part of my job before I check my alternate one (mikebilica@gmail.com) that I have used for community and blog use. The reason I don't release the official email I use for my job is the unbeleivable amount of SPAM that a blogger receives. That being said, I do log in to the email at least once every two weeks with the full intention of returning to daily checks progressively as I get more control over my schedule.
I check the forum more often (3 to 5 times per week) so the Private message may be seen quicker. But to be safe communicate questions and concerns both ways.
Please be patient with me as I am not paid for this endeavor, even though I do value this community and the city of Everett.
I am an average resident of Everett who would like to see more communication about anything and everything to do with Everett

Sorry I was so late on this one. It was a bad time for my computer connection to go offline here at home. I now have DSL and it should be smooth from here on in.
