That would be a surprising development. Isn't Keohan, Hanlon's campaign manager? |

I believe it's true. I did hear from a couple of people that Keohan resigned last Friday. Yes, he was Hanlon's campaign manager, but he's also Tony Latorelli's brother-in-law. |

Massdee - he was; the issue at hand was the firing of Mr. Keohan's brother-in-law, Anthony Latorelli. He was one of the employees let go after the audit was released.
It's never a good thing to be in a foxhole with men like the embattled mayor. He mistakes enemies for friends and friends for enemies, whom he immediately shoots first and asks questions later. (to wit: Bev Dorman, Anthony, etc.) Given that it's now hunting season anyway..."friends" of the mayor should be very, very careful. Any suddens moves and ..... |

I wonder if he is going to change camps. Joe really doesn't need him working on his campaign. |

MassDee - Joe needs EVERYONE. The Keonhans are well-connected and know lots of people.
That's how elections are won. Exclusivity is for the losers in an election, not the winners. If it comes down to it, Joe should welcome him with open arms. |

I think Ron Keohan was part of Mayor Hanlons problem. They maybe well connected, but hey can also be very vindictive. They have worked on the McCarthy, Ragucci and the Hanlon campaigns. They seem to change candidates as often as Dave Rav. |

Taking assistance from anyone and everyone is a slippery slope. Just look where it got the current mayor. Nothing but a vicious bunch of people with an ax to grind and looking to lard the payroll. I don't think it will hurt Joe Mcgonagle to be a bit desciminating in who he chooses to bring in to his campaign. If nothing further comes out of the alleged investigations ongoing from the piecemeal audit that was done then Hanlon will be finished. Mr. Mcgonagle, being the only credible candidate as of now, will win in a cakewalk. |

Massdee...I can assure you that my family NEVER worked on any Ragucci for Mayor campaign. My parents have always volunteered for Former Mayor McCarthy and Mayor Hanlon. Our candidates become our candidates to stay, devotion to friends is something I was raised on from BOTH parents. Changing candidates is not something we take lightly, and what happened on Friday did not come easy to my father, but the one group we are devoted to more than friends is our family.
I know both Hanlon and McGonagle personally, and I can tell you with a certainty that they both have to work to get this vote! |

Sorry if I misspoke about the Ragucci campaign. I assumed that since Mr Keohan worked in the Assessors office during the Ragucci Administration, that he supported Mayor Ragucci. You know what happens when you assume, I'll try not to do that again. |

Yes he did. My parents absolutely did not, and neither did I. |

Yes and Tony didn't cut his Ragucci political ties after David canned Ron. |

Isn't that when T. Latorelli started working on the McGonagle's campaigns? |

Tony quit the planning board where he was serving as chairman, he also left the school building commission and refused to work on Dave's campaign and yes he did manage Joe's campaign for alderman. Dave told me Tony didn't even speak to him for two years, maybe even a little longer. I don't know Ron and his family personally but I do know Tony and it seems politics comes second to all of them when the family is involved. Good for them, that's the way it is suppose to be, congratulations Ron you did the right thing. |
