I just remembered..........hard drives in the rec's computers being destroyed, I didn't read that in last weeks papers, I must of missed it. If Wayne didn't bring it up I would not of known about it. |

It must be something recent trying to be covered, I'm sure the computers were all checked in the last investigation. |

I do remember seeing something in the paper last week about the Rec Center being vandalized during regular business hours, which I find kind of weird, because that place always has people wandering around. How does someone get in, get into the office, and vandalize the computers without anyone knowing? Something doesn't seem quite right. |

If everything we read and hear is true, ( which I highly doubt ) it would seem it would have to be someone that is supposed to be in the office where the computers are. I can't see anyone else being able to be in there long enough to remove a hard drive without being detected. |

I did watch the meeting last night and the part about the hard drive of the computer one of the council members, a young girl, explained just how tedious and time consuming it would be to remove a hard drive. Even destroying it would make such a ruckus that it would have been heard. Something is up with that. And this is under the "NEW" Rec director? |

I agree. I also don't remember the article specifically mentioning computer hard drives; I'm going to check today and see if I still have a copy of the paper. |

I am pretty sure the hard drive part of the story is true, due to the Mayor asking Stephenie Smith how do you go about removing a hard drive. The Mayor also stated he does not know how to use a computer. How can you run a City without knowing how to use a computer. At least Wayne is taking classes to learn how to use a computer. |

Helllloooo massdee you ask: How can you run a City without knowing how to use a computer. Obviously from his actions to date, YOU DON'T! Just look at the mess this city is in. |

The Council sure had no problem spending more of the taxpayers money last night in the form of pay raises. What ever happened to the "true budget?" Come November, I personally will be holding these members accountable for our outrageous tax bills. They all should be voting against any extra spending, and give us all some tax relief.
As for the School Committee getting paid, it maybe coming out of the School Department's budget, but the bottom line is that their budget comes from the taxpayer, just like city government. No matter how they say it, we are going to be paying for it. Thanks Councilman Mangan, just what we needed at this point, more spending. |

I don't really know him, I have met him a couple of times when he was out campaigning, he seems to be a nice enough person. I just don't care for his politics, I feel he is hurting us more than helping. If he wants to get re-elected, he better take a closer look at the issues and start voting on the side of the taxpayers and not on the side of city government. Due to the overspending and the audit, people are taking a closer look this year at all the candidates. The elections this year just might not be the cake walk it has been in the past. Some of them better wake up or they will be out of office come November. |

Massdee, thank you for the enlightenment.. Thank you to all of my friends on this blog for the info about the meeting...Can't wait to watch it. I can only say that Eagle with walker mmust think that when you cross your fingers, your not lying..LOL
You have to admit, he didn't say that it was a "true blue" budget..Didn't hear an "honest injun" comment either...LOL I think "honest"(ROFLMAO) John would like to go back to paper and pencil days, much easier to use whiteout, than to erase or destroy a hard drive. |
