I just saw this in an article.
"Patrick says that he and his wife can meet their loan obligations if he is elected governor, a post that pays $135,000 a year."

On the issue of the clerical position in the budget/purchasing office -- massdee, I agree with you about questioning how the budget is going to be handled if, as it now appears, the budget office is not understaffed. I had also heard -- although I can't verify it -- that since Ms. Fulchini's departure from the mayor's office, the budget director has also taken on the role of de facto chief of staff. It's going to be a very interesting budget season indeed.

Is she collecting two salaries for this, one from the Budget Dept. and one from Mayors Office? LOL |

It's obvious Lynda, you clearly cannot help yourself. You poor thing. My sympathy to you. It just doesn't seem right of me to respond to your nasty studdering comment, now that I know about your condition. From here on in, I will no longer respond to any of your nasty comments, instead, I will say a small prayer that you get the help you need. |

Whatever Fancy. Peace be with you.
Massdee nothing would surprise me with this administration. They will ask for the monies after they have paid her a half of dozen times.

When the budget was originally approved, there were unfilled positions that were funded. As I recall, Janice at one point said some of those positions weren't going to be filled. So the question that begs to be asked............ why the he** did they approve it in the first place?
Next question.............. What the he** did they think the administration was going to do with that money? The door was left wide open for it to be used in whatever fashion the mayor & his minions chose to use it and that's exactly what they're doing! Moving it around doesn't impact the "true" budget at all.
Our elected officials should have followed through with all the questions they were asking. Instead, they caved and are now trying to back pedal and hold the line. It's too late. Let's hope they've learned something and don't give in this year! |

I caught the replay of the Common Council meeting and can't get over Leo McKinnon and the anonymous letter. There was absolutely no benefit or information ofmerit. What was he thinking? He said he spoke privately to the Mayor so was he just looking for more airtime? Lack of maturity and professionalism on his part. Why didn't President Sal stop it? Lack of leadership on his part. If I was Lori Bruno I would be pissed that a colleague brought that out in public with my name on it. Leo put her in a tough spot, not he Mayor. Did he blind side her? Leo, if your reading this grow up and get wear a different suit jacket and tie instead of the same one meeting after meeting. |

I think Lorrie Bruno should go after the Alderman seat in her ward, that would be a very interesting race. Bruno vs RVC |

That would be a good start move her up to Alderman than on to the Mayors position. |

I would vote Lorrie any and every day. She has no ties with Eagle with walker unlike Roberto. It has been well known that he would not run for mayor if the Eagle was running. The name of Pitiful Hall is extremely fitting nowadays. The Geritol bunch is running the asylum, or is it the Over the Hill Gang...LOL |

I think Lorrie could beat RVC easily. I know I would vote for her and I am not in Ward 5. |

I think opinions are what we are here to read about. Personal attacks about peoples clothing is unnecessary. Leo is a good person. Even if I do not agree with him reading that letter. It only caused Lorrie to be under suspicion.
