I had heard that, and that Hanlon had sent a "spy" to skulk around Borgonzi's house and see who attended. The "spy" was also a city employee.

Sorry Massdee I am very frustrated with the city right now, my point is that if the spy story is true then the people running the city are not good hearted people. Last time I checked we had certain freedoms, and one of them was the freedom of choice which Mr. Borgonzi was exercising. That's all.

| It just adds fuel to the fire that the phone survey came from Hanlon's camp, especially with that question about being a city worker. Intimidation plain and simple. |

I'm very confident that the story I heard is true, Turk.
Hanlon's Merry Minions have been itching to get rid of Borgonzi for a long time. Good luck to them now that he's gone, because Jerry Sheehan has absolutely no clue what he's doing down there; I think they probably only have one employee left down there who does.

| I heard he had a fight with a New Union Rep, it got physical, and there may be charges taken out on Borgonzi, that's why the police were called and he was escorted off the premises. |

| There was no altercation with Al Bogonzi this is all lets get AL by a few people. I have heard more stories and at my age I relaize that there are 2 sides to each story and Al has taken their grieve in silence now that is a true man. I have lived in this city for all my which is 55 years and have never seen anything like this. |

| I have also lived here my entire life, which is about the same amount of time as you have been here. I think things are only going to go downhill from here with the mud that is going to be slung this election season. Wait until the budget hearings start. City Government was fooled last year (except for Joe )I don't think it will be a repeat this year. All these guys better open their eyes or there will end up being a big turnover on the Common Council and Board of Alderman come November. |

| Massdee, I agree with you except for one thing. Things have been going downhill ever since Walking eagle has taken over. What a joke!! He ran on a platform of lies and deceit. Now, the city is so full of hate and mistrust, you don't know who to believe. I say that we elect Lorrie Bruno mayor, she has always been honest and hard working for all of us. She deserves a BIG apology from the Eagle with walker.I never helped any candidates when they were running for office, I think this time it is going to be different. I will back any candidate other than Hanlon!!I am so disappointed in him, I tried to believe like everyone else did, that he would be different. As we know in our heart of hearts, he just totally blew it...:>( |

Have you ever thought that this Audit is diverting out attention from other things around the city. What could be going on that someone would want to divert our attention from. How bout the Sludge Plant? How About money all the departments are coming back asking for additions for the true budget? What's the matter Managers can't manage? I am open to all ideas what's going on in the backround? Anyone, Bueller, Anyone?

| Before you canonize Al Borgonzi remember this is the same guy who publically supporting McCarthy while working behind the scenes against him. Sometimes what goes around comes around. |
