I'm usually among the first to join the "pile on Keanu" team, but he's right in this case. The city council did try to cut this program. I haven't seen the ad, and as we all know, I'm no great fan of the mayor, but . . . fair is fair.
Again I never said that Hanlon claimed to put this together from the start. What I said was he now stands proudly among the children in the program that Ragucci put together. He should credit Ragucci for it!
Lynda . . . no politician is going to credit another politician for something like this, particularly when the parties involved are sworn political enemies. Former Mayor Ragucci never credited John McCarthy for starting the school building program, either. Can you give me one example of any politician in this city who ever gave credit for anything to one of their enemies?
