I have been reading through these old post in this area. Someone want to enlighten me as to how all this crap could go down in this tiny building without anyones knowledge? And now there is more with this hard drive and the man in question in the past isn't even there anymore with the investigation on him already completed in those four walls. Did they get the wrong person and the one who got away with whatever it is he got away with is covering his behind?

Bobby, you are a very smart person. Remember when I said that alot of this was smoke and mirrors? Well, if we look between the lines, as you have done, then we see that Bill was not to blame. The only thing Bill did wrong was to be unaware that you need to register your own charity. Why now, at a time of the forensic audit by the way, was evidence destroyed? Why would someone want to take a hard drive after it had been checked out by an investigation team? Perhaps someone recent has something to hide? I can't wait to see the Audit!!!

Why would this computer never have been checked? According to the past posts they went into the recreation center and spent about a week in there going through files and you mean to tell me they went through file cabinets but they never went into the computer to see what was stored in there? That really doesn't make any sense or even adequate police work.
Sorry to open this can of worms but it didn't sound right to me at all and thought I would ask.

Bobby, a very legitimate question. Hopefully our elected officials will follow up on this issue and ask some of these questions.

I don't really think there is a need for follow-up since I am sure they checked out all the computers in the center as soon as any allegations were brought forward. If not than the city should clean house of all the useless investigators.

Bobby,stop thinking logically here..LOL
Come back in the box...it is safe in the box..LOL

Only kidding, but you are right that there is no need for follow up about it. I say, let sleeping dogs lie.

LOL Masterful1. It clearly states in todays paper that it is very unlikely that the former administration had anything to do with the theft of the computer due to the investigation coming to a close.

That is from the paper who writes it's articles based on what we write here. They do no research or interviews.

All I know is what I read. I have to take it for fact because there is nothing else to go by.

Bobby, Don't take most everything as fact that you read in our local papers. All three of the papers know how to play the game. What I do is read the three of them, and then the real truth lies somewhere between the lines that I just read.

Maybe it had nothing to do with the investigation, maybe someone wrote that letter about Myor Hanlon on it, or maybe they were making posts to this blog and did not want anyone to know.

Seems like a awful lot of risk to try and cover something so stupid to begin with up. I mean whatever is written here isn't illegal to write your thoughts and if you didn't believe what you are writing to be true, than why write it to begin with, as far as that letter if they didn't save the letter and just wrote it on the computer it wouldn't remain in the hard drive would it?

Did you know that unless you drill through the hard drive, you can still get info from the drive? Couldn't have been too professional, when they didn't take the actual drive with them. Why would they go to that trouble and not take it? This belongs on the "world's dumbest criminals blog".
