| I apologize in advance for my crude language, but this childish pissing contest between the two of you is getting really old. Surely with everything going on in this city right now, you can shift your focus away from each other and join the rest of us in some real discussion and debate. |

Now, Lynda, you know I read the blog, and yes, you have contributed to the discussion, but when you allow yourself to get sucked in by Fancy's high school like behavior, it diminishes your other contributions. Why rise to the bait?
I know I sound like I'm lecturing, and I apologize, but I also know that you have real concerns, as do the rest of us, about what is going on in the city right now. |

I agree the Rec center needs to move on. Rick Milley should have been the first choice all along. He is a wonderful guy. I wish them all luck down there.

Have you read the paper today? Not that I put much trust into what the Independent sats, but Chief Mazzie was ready to persue charges against the former director.

It does not mention the charges that would have been brought. It says Mazzie confirmed that the investigation was over and that Bowdridge would appear in Malden District Court. Another source says that he was able to pay $2600 and the city would agree not to pusue criminal charges. Does not sound like not guilty does it. And from what I understand the checks were made out to Bill's "charity" and that is why he would have been charged and not the co director. One check would be made out to the Rec and one to Bill. That is obviously illegal.

| Lynda, I don't know anyone involved but if you read todays paper, Sally is correct. She is posting what she read. Something just doesn't seem right in his actions. I hope you can get the paper and you will understand better where we are coming from. |

Well since the foundation had no license and the monies were unnaccounted for , he could have gotten away with taking the money.
