There is a fire right now at the high school. From what I can hear on the scanner there are lockers on fire on the third floor. I called my daughter and they have been evacuated.

That is just funny. We do not even have locks on some of the doors.
No no cameras that I am aware of however, the new high school has a GREAT security system. Thank God! |

I recall a post about a girl with a kill list last week on these boards. The lack of response was frightening to me. I think people are under the impression that they can trust that their kids are safe in school. I have learned first hand that that is just not so. Cameras!!! Your right Lynda that is hillarious. I heard about the new high school. Everything can be put into lockdown with the push of a button. I will feel much safer next year I suppose. But, this year the kids we have to worry about are in the school.

I just hope and pray that the new High School does actually open in Sept. The High School now is just not gonna make another year, nor will the kids up there.
I too saw that meeting which explained all that the new High School will have for security. They even said that FFF will be able to view what is going on in the High School from his house. |

I too am happy with the security.
But Sally let me ask you, do you really think it is that much worse than when we were up there? I am not being wise here I am just asking your honest opinion. |
