I have a question. I am getting rid of an old set of Encyclopedias, will recycling take them or do I put them out with the regular trash? I checked the cities web site but it really doesn't say one way or the other.

Donate them to the Library. They will be happy to take them. And yes recycling should take them it would be under paper.

I don't think the Library will want them, they are quite out of date. Even the Salvation Army or the other places to donate don't want old Encyclopedias. The only reason I question if recycling will take them, is the covers. Do I need to remove the covers?

I'm not sure, massdee, but if you give Jon Norton a call, he'd know for sure. He's the recycling guru, but he's a chatty fellow, so give yourself some time if you do call!
