CCLou you sound like a McCarthy person. "The FBI even investigated the Ragucci Administration but they got away with that somehow" That's a good one. How many years have you folks been selling that. 10 or 12. |

| No kiddind CCLOU, if the FBI found anything Ragucci would have been taken out in cuffs, maybe if the Hanlon administration spent their time moving forward instead of trying to discredit the Ragucci administration the City of Everett would be much better off. |

I remember a long time ago after David Ragucci defeated John McCarthy, every month the defeated McCarthy-ites would announce to whomever would listen, "The FBI will be taking Ragucci out of City Hall in handcuffs!"
Every month they said this.
Never happened.

| Most of them are flying the Hanlon colors and they are still trying to discredit a very good and competent Mayor Ragucci, whether you liked him or not things still got done in this City, he didn't have to spend his time trying to discredit John McCarthy, he had his own vision for Everett. Hanlon's vision for Everett appears to be a bit cloudy to say the least |

Of course they are flying Hanlon colors!
This entire six-year election campaign by Hanlon has been orchestrated to discredit David Ragucci. From the first day David was elected, the McCarthy-ites were there to discredit him.
As I have said a very long time ago regarding Hanlon's victory...Now you have it what are you going to do for Everett?
They have nothing but bitterness and they have never had a plan in place or competant people to take over.
Let's keep in mind however that Hanlon won through the democratic process of voting.
In other words the majority of voters wanted John F. Hanlon for Mayor!
I hope they are happy now with what they wanted.
Forestierre is running the city, Hanlon is a puppet for F-cubed.
Our elected body is afraid to take action against the administration.
Almost everyone on the school committee has relatives working for Freddy. Freddy would fire them in a heartbeat if the vote for him is not right.
This city has turned into a pathetic display of nepotism and bad government.
End of soapbox.

I have seen better "productions" staged at the high school.
I think Walking Eagle needs to work on his "light show" if the substance of his production is going to be so shallow.
The methodology of the "report" is questionable, and so should the price tag. For a mere $41K, the city recieve a 22-page, puddle-deep Vetrano-driven vendetta, instead of providing a transparent and full disclosure of city finances and operations. At $1,863.63 per page, I am not impressed.
This, my friends, was not a fraud audit...not when confiscated computers go untouched, documents are placed in a locked room by people with a vested interest in the outcome and employees, vendors and others weren't contacted to test the underlying assumptions, and to potentially provide exculpatory evidence. A smart auditor would have undertaken these steps; wiser people than this would have understood the ramifications of "shooting first and asking questions later."
Emile, I must beg to differ with you on your take of the City Council. I think the majority have had their eyes opened. Monday night wasn't pretty.
I have heard that Mr. Foresteire had his hand in helping Walking Eagle prepare for Monday night's production. I learned from someone at city hall that Fred was up there nearly every day in the run-up to the press conference. This explains the chaos that ensued; Mr. Foresteire is highly experienced in creating chaos. It helps people forget his own chicanery with the IG and the letter that the president of the school committee and the mayor received and ignored.
They say it's always "darkest before dawn." We haven't yet begun to see the light. Hopefully, it will come in November.
Yours in Solidarity.

| Court, that is exactly what I had heard about FFF and the dog and pony show of the first Joint Convention. I also agree this is his attempt at taking the spotlight off himself and he really doesn't care that he threw Hanlon under the cart and Hanlon is not smart enough to know what FFF is doing. |
