Well Hello everyone I'm back and better than ever, I'm looking forward to speaking my mind and hope to help influence change for this great city. I miss the old BB which came down after the election, but certainly glad to see someone had the thought to put up another one. Anyway I glad to be back, some will love me others will hate me. either way I will not deter from speaking my mind, with the hopes of opening some eyes and ears in this city.

bulletin board? And Joe beware, there are rules here about language and making accusations that could get you banned from posting. Just choose your words carefully.

Oh- "Joe Blow" means the old bulletin board, run by "stan dupenshout" who posted "mission accomplished" the day after Mayor Hanlon won the election. It was a libel-filled board designed to take down the former mayor. Rumor, innuendo and hate were the chief topics of business.

Yes I was refering to the old BB. And yes I'm aware of swearing. Oh and thanks to the person who ate the cheese and e-mailed the moderator about my post.

1st of all what was wrong with my posts, its called freedom of speech why cant I speak my opion with and open mind and mouth, why are some always so quick to shut others up.

Anyway I'm here to speak and be heard not be gagged. I will keep the swearing down dont worry I dont need to swear to get my point across.

You seem to think you will have a choice whether or not to follow the rules. There is free speechin this country, but this is a message board with moderators. You can share like the rest of us without tearing people apart. K thanks!

Your post have been slanderous and insulting. Share your opinions, but you don't have to do any personal attacks.

First of all, Joe, you can certainly speak your mind. We encourage that around here. We also encourage a reasonable level of civility. While opinions can get rather colorful around here, you should observe this little canard my grandmother always told us while growing up: "it's better to say nothing and have people think you a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

MMMM yes I always liked that qoute,

Everetts pride: you said I dont think I have to follow the rules, Not true I do have to follow the rules just like the rest, however I think the problem here is, not so much my opinion but the manner in which I deliver it. OK I agree no swearing, but as someone else mentioned here I was being slanderous, again not true.

I am well aware my method of delivery is blunt and VERY straight forward, but thats just me and how I'm thinking of a subject and when speaking it I come across very passionette.

I feel strongly about the subjects I have spoken about so they may seem to come off very strong and passionette, or rude and slanderous to others, I have no control over how someone swallos what I'm saying nor am I inclined to have any care.

Try this, try viewing what I say with a sarcastic humor, it go down better, its just a suggestion, try not reading to deep into what I'm saying and pysco analyzing me from a desk top computer. I'm most of you here are decent people, However the subjects I spoke of I find fustrating that they continue, I find them utterly amazing some of the stuff is or has taken place. So like I said before when I speak and it sounds vile, its not its passion. I grew up and I'm not gowing anywhere so I hate to see some of the crap that goes on or has gone on.

Hope this clears a few things up.

Hey Big Scary Joe (I know you totally jones on being big and scary) - one can be "strong" and passionate" without being offensive and libel-prone. The English language has more than 171,000 words, far more than most. Blaming it on the "passion" is like blaming drunk driving on the booze. It's a BS argument.

I just wanted to give you a little background on the avatar you chose. It's a shark from a movie called little Nemo. His name is "Bruce" and he joined a 12-step program to help him kick the little fishy habit he picked up. He and his friends recite this at each meeting: "I am a nice shark, not a mindless eating machine. If I am to change this image, I must first change myself. Fish are friends, not food."

I thought you might find that interesting.
