Who are you kidding? The mayor has fought the council since day one and a budget of 125 million is absurd. Our taxes are increasing by horrendous amounts and that man has not even tried to control spending.
You're right, the people who's jobs the mayor was threatening do deserve their jobs. It's too bad he won't listen to the people, or their representatives (common council & board of alderman,) and eliminate the people in newly created, unneeded, positions. Those are the jobs, and people, we shouldn't be supporting!
January can't come fast enough for me. I'll be very happy to see the back of him and his minions. |
