I wanted to share the Ferry St. Grill with all you bloggers. My wife and I recently went there and the prices were great, the coffee was wonderful and service with a smile.

We also tried Dempsey's in Everett Square where we found the prices extremely high compared to Ferry St. Grill our bill at dempsey's came to over ten dollars for the same breakfast that we got at Ferry st. grill at eight dollars. The homefries at f.s.g. were better tasting than dempsey's. Just wanted to share.

Another good thing about Ferry Street Grill is that it has plenty of parking. For those of you who don't know , it is located at the corner of High Street and Ferry Street.

When I was a kid, it was a little corner store named Vinnies, we would go there and buy penny candy.

Ferry Street Grill also cooks without any trans fats for those helath concious diners. My daughter has eaten there several times and she loves it.

I've heard good things about this place and have been thinking of giving it a try.

I haven't been to Sunrise or Carol's for a couple of years because I felt there was a cleanliness issue at both places.

So............. on a scale of 5, how would you rate each for cleanliness?

I haven't been in Carol or Sunrise in several years either, so I can't rate them. Ferry Street Grill is immaculate, so I'll give it a 5.

Yeah I hear that place on Ferry St is pretty good too. Dempsey's food is awful and I can remember times I went there and I got so sick I had to rush to the restroom. The waitstaff are *******'s. lol

I did, but I wasn't impressed. Service was poor, food was only okay. The toast was cold and unbuttered, nothing to put on it & the waitress never came back to see if we needed, or wanted anything else. We were there early, it wasn't busy, and there really wasn't any (noticeable) reason for the service being what it was.

I'd be willing to give it another try, but my husband is less than enthusiastic about going back. Some Saturday when we're looking for breakfast out and I don't feel like driving too far, I'll force the issue and give them another shot. It could have just been a bad day. We all have them..............

I was thinking about it today and I know of one place that is the absolute best to go to for breakfast. Although it is not in Everett, if you go to Ball Square in Somerville, there is a place called Kelly's Diner. They serve the best food in the area in my opinion and they have the best service.
