Anyone read the Independent this morning? On page8, Campaign Whispers, it seems that Mr. Parziale and Mr. Resnek are reading this message board. What they are reporting has all been posted here. Glad to see they are getting their information some place other than the Mayors Office.

That would just make the story that much more interesting. Some of the kids at the High School don't live in Everett why not make the School Committee outsiders as well? Only if they play football that is. |

| Obvious...exactly what rumor are you referring? It appears to me that MassDee has simply drawn lines from the Independent to this forum. It hardly fits the bill of "rumor mongering." The Independent, on the other hand, has had to issue corrections due to some of its "reporting," because it had printed rumors which were later proven to be unfounded. |

Okay, Louie, I'll bite . . . where are the personal attacks? Believe me, NO ONE on this board thinks that the mayor or the havoc he's managed to wreak over the past 18 months is a joke. NO ONE is laughing about what is going on with the city. If you're talking about Court's little musical take off, lighten up. It's called humor. The fact that Resnek set himself up for this humor -- which, by the way, refers specifically to his duties as the editor for his so-called newspaper -- is unfortunate for him, but it doesn't make it any less amusing.
If you want to talk about personal attacks, why don't you address that insulting and some would say libelous editorial that Resnek allowed to be printed in his paper on Wednesday regarding Larry DeCoste. Because DeCoste has refused to drink the Kool Aid and, in the process, drown his own integrity, he's now the target of the vindictive, small minded and incompetent people that Hanlon has surrounded himself with.
If you consider my comments here to be personal attacks, then I plead guilty. But I am sick to death of these people trying to cover up their own ineptitude by dragging the names of reasonable and qualified people through the mud.

You don't even blush when people call you "co-opted." |
