I read this in the other Blog and felt it couldn't have been said any better...
Here we have a lot of people getting paid to do nothing up at Pity Hall, filthy streets, gangs, crime, illegals, parking problems, lawsuits, absentee landlords who don't care who they rent to as long as they get the rent, businesses that do not cater to the legal taxpayers of this city, poor education, corruption, incompetent mayor and administration, etc.

| With all this going on in our city it is going to bring down our housing prices further and people are not going to want to move into this city any longer. |

| I looked just out of curiosity what the competition would be if I was to sell and... Everett is approximately 3 X 3 miles and in this tiny area there are 324 houses for sale to date. I was in awe over this. |

So that tells you that the houses have stopped selling in Everett, unless you are willing to really drop your price.
Lynda, do you know how many homes are in Everett? Just curious what percent is up for sale. |

Either they stopped selling or more people are just trying to get out of this mess of a city. Sad. I have been here over 40 years and I am looking to get out.
I don't know how many homes are in Everett that would be interesting to find out though. |

| You actually made me stop and think. My children would be the fourth generation here at this point. I am one of six born and raised here and out of the six their are two of us still here. Something tells me that along with me it won't be long before he too packs up and leaves. |

Louie . . . that would be "there are only . . . " and the word is uneducated. If you going to call people uneducated, it would be wise not to sound uneducated yourself.
You are clearly simply a shill for the administration, and you lose more and more credibility every time you come out here. Can you not add anything constructive to the situation -- besides your usual "blame it on the previous administration" line of defense and your consistent habit of calling people names when you have nothing else to say.
We're interested in your input, Louie, but so far . . . it's been disappointing. |
