| Henry, do you really think it is smart of Carlo to be in bed with Thibeault? The mans past history with Everett and other communities is not good. I feel it is a big mistake on Carlo's part. |

The bottom line is Thibeault is the new owner of the land, no matter who the Mayor is if they ever want to see any development down there they will have to deal with Thibeault. And I know Carlo is not the type of guy to be bought, he doesn't need Thibeault's money. Recently, on the southshore his father-in-law just had a very successful fundraiser for him, so Thibeault clearly is not backing his entire campaign. Do your research, the reason why the wood waste plant near stop and shop was not enclosed is because David Ragucci who was in office at the time gave Mr. Thibeault a 5 year reprival to enclose it. I don't think Carlo if given the position would handle things the same way. I think this situation is being blown way out of proportion due to the other candidates, Carlo again didn't call on Mr. Thibeault, he is the land owner and Mr. Thibeault does lease out to Stop and Shop in Everett as well.

| Lynda - those blinders look divine on you! Carlo clearly mentions a developer in his video and you claim that it can't be about Thibeault because his video is about him and his campaign. God bless you - I wish we could all be so sure. |

| Cathy, I think what Linda was saying was Carlo wasn't mentioning Thibeault because the video is about " Carlo", not that he was hiding anything, but people in this wonderful city like to twist everything around. Carlo has always been open and honest, and if he was hiding anything he wouldn't have brought up future development at all. |

I was checking my watch, wondering when you would show up again. My comments were to Lynda (with a Y) and not to you....yet you feel compelled to jump in. Interesting. Nevertheless, Welcome back! Thanks AVGMOM and that is exactly what I was referring to in my post about Carlo's video. I DO NOT think that Carlo is a stupid man nor do I think he would sell the city out to anyone.
I like him and think he would be GREAT for our City. And Court you being a woman hiding behind a man tells me a lot. (You can bring it on now I am expecting it.) |

| I am not trying to discredit whoever court is, read through the archives she is just so condescending to everyone and thinks she knows everything and it is quite sickening, I was just pointing out what Lynda meant and she jumped all over me for it. |

AVGMOM - again, you're way off base. You're making assumptions that have no basis in fact. MassDee is the moderator of this section and I presume she will step in, if need be. As I pointed out, there are rules.
And Lynda - There's nothing to "bring on." I've razzed you before about wearing blinders - that's nothing new. You certainly had them on with we were discussing the scandal at the rec center, despite the information that various others presented. It's merely the same behavior all over again.
The thing is - you've both come here with an agenda, and that is to play defense against whatever there is out here about your friends (family, relations, etc.) We "get it." Lynda, your very first post out here was about the "sad news" of Mr. Bowdridge's health....when we already knew about the rec scandal. People know that Mr. Thibealt, a man of some notoriety in a number of communities, hosted a business fundraiser for Carlo. People are going to be skeptical.

| Court my only comment to you was the fact that you are a woman hiding behind the aviator face of a man. And for the record I still believe that Mr Bowdridge did nothing wrong. It was a scandal toward him just as you stated. That is ALL I am going to say about that. |

Lynda, you have no way of knowing Court's gender. No one out here has any way of knowing who's who, nor is there any need to know who's who. We all have our opinions, which we are free to share, and with which others are free to disagree.

Geez people I made ONE simply comment that Courts post made sense since someone said he/she was a woman. Nothing more and nothing less. Honestly I don't care if Court is a Alien from Mars.
Now can we get back to important issues. PLEASE. |
